I actually prefer the original, and hope it stays.  It's simple and clean, not overly complicated.  However, I do Kalesin's fan art, or some version of it.  I like the image of the capsule falling to the planet.

I like the Western ring to it, however I'm not sure it's a direction Tynan wants to go full-steam

I love the simplicity and power off the logo with the black background aswell. Its what i know its nothing funky but still a powerfull way to show the name
