Sending Trade Ships

Basically, a purpose to the ship--make it so you can send trade ships that return in a season or three. Either fully automated(low returns on investment) or send a colonist(who gains lots of Social XP and based on social skill gains either the same low returns or better returns).


Isn't the point of the game to create a ship so that you can escape the planet? Would these be airplanes that can't leave the planet or something?


I have a better idea. Send colony ships to colonize planets.


I'm sorry, but it's pretty rare for players to actually, uh, want to end their own colonies? :P
