Before the story begins,i've never played Rimworld before.Gonna buy it when it comes out on Steam.

Tim ran through the Hospital, the alarms blaring. The doctors had already begun packing up,and gunfire seemed to come from everywhere. It was snowing,as usual, causing Tim to shiver and sneeze, blood dripping from his nose.As he turned the corner and entered the mountain base, the gunfire only grew louder and louder. He'd told them to leave the woman,he'd said she wasn't worth it.But they ignored him.He knew that the local security of six wouldn't last long, not with such a large force attacking. He ran out of the other entrance, leaving the base.Another gunshot was heard,as he turned and fell backwards into the snow.He saw a man holding a shotgun, giggling at the corpse of Kathleen.Kathleen was one of Tim's closest friends, she'd always helped him feel safe.As blood slowly began recoloring the snow around her,the raider looked up.Tim,in a desperate attempt to fight back, pulled out a knife.BOOM!Tim flew backwards, into the snow, his arm bloody. He stared at the man across from him, fear deep in his eyes. When he flung his knife into the raider's skull! The raider stumbled, before flopping facefirst into the snow.Tim limped to the body and grabbed the shotgun and as much ammo as he could find. The gunfire hadn't stopped, though he could assume things were pretty bad now, with Kathleen dead.He couldn't hold the shotgun with both hands,as his arm was bleeding and had a hole in it.He stumbled to Kathleen, reaching into her pockets. Her rifle was gone, meaning someone'd taken it,not a good sign.Where these tribals had even gotten such weapons,he couldn't fathom. . .or where they'd gotten the military training. He pulled out her pistol, holding it with his left hand. He'd never been good with his left hand, being a righty afterall, but he'd have to make do with what he had.I mean, atleast he didn't look like Kathleen. He shoved the pistol in his pocket, along with any loot he could find on either Kathleen or the raider. The dead no longer mattered,he realized now,as everything had fallen apart. He kicked snow on the Tribal's corpse, and began walking.

Sounds like a terrible, horrible, no good, very bad day.

Or, as Randy would call it, Tuesday.  :)
