Default walls unable to hold up roofs. Light passes through everything.

I have been having some trouble with walls not supporting roofs and light passing through them.
Here is an image showing both errors.

I have looked through the xml files for the <holdsRoof> and <blockLight> for the walls and it is both true which confuses me

That's the one.

Look at it, there are a few xml errors with projectiles from CR (may or may not cause play issues), some textures not loading (won't cause any play issues) but a couple "Getting next unique ID during saving or loading. This may cause bugs."  The second part of that error says it all - "This may cause bugs."

Personally, I don't use any mod with even the smallest error, bug or warning.  Doing so is just courting disaster.

Someone on Reddit also proposed that Glitter Tech (for me it was the latest) version is causing the problem. I disabled it and the walls now work as intended. I think it is most probably that Glitter Tech must have a some dependency for walls or something that conflicts with CR.

(Off-topic) Wich mod gives you a Minimap? I've been looking for one since almost forever.
