game breaking graphical bug

i was playing rimworld and i was digging out a place to build my base when a rock fell from the roof. (event) nothing abnormal about it but i was playing in godmode and when i placed a wall block where the rock was it caused unity to freak out. i have the save for you to see if you need it, hope you fix this "interesting" error.

Please post the save and i will look into it.

God mode is also a dev tool. And not fully supported.

when you get in look up into where i was mining you should see a fallen rock out of place in the middle, use godmode and place one wall ontop of that rock... also if you have epilepsy turn away :P

Well basicly that is a dropping piece of rock since it is not supported by the walls around it.

You override the games mechanic to let rock fall by filling it with a wall.
Something that only can be done in godmode. Which is a devtool. So this is not really a bug.

ah, still would be benificial to fix this somehow? it may be a dev tool but im sure it could help :P anyhow thanks for explaining this. ill get them to mine the rock instead of using godly powers :3

Make sure the roof is supported from somewhere (-:

You cant have a room/building with a roof without supports.
I think the game needs support of about 7 tiles from a direction.

nice mechanic :P ill go back to my days in voxel physic games lol need to support structures like in 7 days to die lol props to the devs they hit it home with the engine. i just love how this game started as a university builder XD
