I'm looking for the location to where steam downloads rimworld mods to. Currently I'm having issues with the workshop items being stuck as 'downloading...' even after re-starting the game 3 times.

Not sure if this is in the correct category (I didn't know whether to put it here, under Mods/help or under support).
Thank you for your time in advance.

edit: possibly downloads instead of content if they're in progress/stalled/broken

This has worked for me in the past for fixing stuck downloads:

Close Steam
Navigate to your Steam Folder/steamapps/workshop/
Remove the "appworkshop_294100.acf" file
Check the "Downloads," "Temp," and "Content" folders, for any folder named "294100" and remove those as well.

Essentially, this is removing all Workshop files from steam, and once steam sees the manifest file (the appworkshp_294100) is not there, it will assume that it needs to redownload the files. Let me know if this works.

Always read something that will make you look good if you die in the middle of it.

this doesn't work for me because I have a folder called "281990" instead of one called "294100".
