What anti-virus software do you have?
What have you tried to get the game going? (Administrator account, 'run as administrator', etc?)

If you are comfortable with manually editing the Windows registry, and are fully aware of the problems that can arise from incorrectly using a registry editor, and are willing to not blame me if this doesn't work or something goes horribly wrong, here's something you can try:

1) Start RegEdit (Windows Key + R, type in Regedt32 and click Run/Ok)
2) Navigate to: HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Ludeon Studios\RimWorld
3) Set the following keys to the following values:
• Screenmanager Is Fullscreen mode_h3981298716
Set to: 0
• Screenmanager Resolution Height_h2627697771
Set to: 768
• Screenmanager Resolution Width_h182942802
Set to: 1024
4) Exit the registry editor
5) Try to start the game

If the problem is simply an invalid display resolution, the above might fix it.

I will try and do what you have told me hopefully its yust a screen resolution problem

BugReporter

The game dosent works still but now I can put it in window mode which means its not a resolution problem  :'(

Does the game generate an 'output_log.txt' file? You'll find it in the \RimWorld363Win_Data folder.
If it does, please attach that here.

Ah, I've seen this. It seems the Core mod is deactivated, somehow.

To fix it:

Go to C:\Users\(YOURNAME)\AppData\LocalLow\Ludeon Studios\Rimworld

And delete everything there.

One final thing. I think I know the problem.

Install the game under C:/RimWorld

Not any other directory. NOT the desktop.

There may be a bug with handling file paths that have spaces...
