Latest Version of DirectX(r) is Required???

So, I had the game on steam and it played fine. Then, as Alpha 14c rolled along, I got some weird disk driver error stuff showing up. Anyway, unistalled and reinstalled the game.

I just went to play and the error message pops up: The latest version of Microsoft DirectX(r) is required to play RimWorld.
Underneath is a broken link to the website you download it from.

PLEASE HELP ME! It worked fine before I uninstalled with DirectX version 11, and now I reinstalled it with the exact same EVERYTHING!!! and this shows up...
Only in RimWorld is the phrase "31 Heavily-Armed Siegers are currently bombing your base" preferable to "50 manhunting squirrels are attacking your colony"

Latest version is 14d, not 14c.  Which are you running?

What version of DX do you have installed now?

Currently 14d, and I am using DirectX version 11

I think I saw something about a command line argument somewhere that would let you specify what DX version to use. I can't find it now. Can anyone else? (Maybe I'm thinking of something else?)

Edit - Can you still play the SendOwl version?
