Changed grave storage settings from the default are reset after loading a saved game. I had, last night, specifically changed every grave in my graveyard to only accept human corpses, however upon a boomrat attack today, one of my colonists attempted to store it in the graveyard. I thought I had missed one of my graves however that was soon ruled out as the colonist then moved the corpse to the next grave over. Checking a randomly selected grave yielded the same result.

Additionally I'd like to ask why graves default to accepting all corpses. Most animals are useful for meat, while graves keep human corpses from causing psychological harm to colonists and prevent colonists from butchering their contents. Or so I have noticed. I might be mistaken as I have not extensively tested.

Graves accepting all corpse types is left over from pre-Alpha 2, as back then you could not butcher animals, so you built up large amounts of animal corpses that you couldn't do anything with.

As a temporary fix, you could install this mod:

Works very well by changing the default allowed storage of graves to human only.
