on a relevant, but more productive note, here's a suggestion... if the game is ultimately modifiable, how about some mod tools (even if simple in functionality). Potentially even steam workshop integration.

Even though I'm biased, this "article" brings interesting points.

I'd rather have Tynan managing the whole game development on his own, with no strings attached.
The modability may already be scheduled, if not being worked on, as I suppose it will manage the modules to come.
