When I click on the Rimworld.exe I get the security warning, click run and nothing happens. Have already deleted and downloaded but no change. It doesn't create a crash folder when it fails to run. I have even had task manager open to watch to see if it shows up in processes and it does for about a second then closes. I could run all the previous versions but not the latest one. Don't know what is causing it to close before it even starts.

I use a Dell Inspiron 7520 with a Intel Core i7 CPU at 2.10GHz with 8.00 GB RAM with Windows 7 Home Premium 64-bit installed

If you know how to, I'd suggest recording a video of you recreating the issue and uploading it to Youtube. The unregistered version of Hypercam is free and works more than well enough for this. Failing that, you could try posting a series of screenshots. The devs, should they read this, would also likely want the DXDiag for your system (google it). Any of these would help determine what the problem potentially is.

No need for that wont show alot (-:

Can you check the output_log.txt and upload it for us.

A question did the game ever load for you? And if so did you by accident change the resolution to something?

Yes I could play all the previous versions just not the latest version. I have never got the current version to run at all.

All that the output_log.txt says is:

Initialize engine version: 4.3.0f4 (e01000627d60)
GfxDevice: creating device client; threaded=1

I got the same thing today, but the games worked for me fine, until today;
Yesterday I was happily playing RimWorld, today it just shows a black screen after executing the file.
When I try it with a 'clean' copy of it, without mods, it works, but I didn´t change anything, not with the mods, not with the game itself, nothing :/
