Continuous raiders

When playing alpha 1 I finally managed to build a "safe" and sustainable colony, but since I had advanced so far every 10 minutes or so I would get the pop up "raiders have landed". Perhaps when you do reach a high level something other than raiders landing could happen or could you at least make it so the raiders don't appear every 10 min. Thanks.

But is it FUN? (This is a game after all...)

I assume that some people would prefer more difficult but less frequent raids.
