Mechanoid Ship Crash (Lingering Event)

By lingering event I mean events that are around until the player deals with them, like crashed ship parts, alphabeavers and insect hives.

The idea is to prevent players from burrowing in and being essentially invincible. No more utopias.

---------------------------------- Mechanoid Hive

A Mechanoid controlled ship comes crashing down to the planet. The ship spawns Mechanoids more frequently the longer it is left there. Every 5 minutes increases the number of Mechanoids on the map by 2. There cannot be more than 20 Mechanoids at a time.

---------------------------------- How to Destroy

The ship part cannot be blown up or shot at for it to be destroyed, as it is protected by a shield. Instead, the player will need to send a colonist to disable the Power Generator located at the back of the ship. Once the power generator is offline, the Shield Projector becomes vulnerable. The colonist can be told to then disable the shield projector and once the shield projector is disabled, the ship can be attacked.

The ship has 20000 health.

---------------------------------- Frequency

As this seems to be a relatively tough event, the event should only be triggered after a year of the player being on the planet, as that will allow them to prepare for the event. There is a 5% chance of the event happening each season.

Once destroyed, the ship will drop:

- 1 AI Persona Core (guaranteed)
- 500 Steel (guaranteed)
- 3 random weapons (70% chance on each weapon)
- 100 Plasteel (20% chance)

---------------------------------- Variants

The ship should have varying physical appearances, physical power generators and shield projectors and features.

Automated Defences are high tech turrets built into the ship. These turrets can be shot and disabled but will regenerate after a day.

Two Mortars can be built into the hull of the ship and are disabled when the power generator is shut offline. One of the mortars are explosive, the other is incendiary.

Psychic Emitters will cause the same effects as psychic ships, but won't stop until the ship is destroyed. Each day, the emitter grows stronger.

Toxic Pumps can be built into the bottom of the ship and are disabled when the power generator is shut off. These pumps will cause the same effects as toxic ships.
