How to update version?

I need to know how to update my rimworld version. Please help.

It really would be best to delete your old version's install folder. Then unzip your new version to that spot. This will be sure to stop any previous files that are no longer needed from accidentally staying around and causing problems.

You could also install your new version to its own location, and then set up custom file locations. Look in the readme in the install folder for details how to do this. This would allow you to keep both version installed and running. You could also install multiple versions of the same build for custom mod setups, or some for modded play and some vanilla.
