Colonists stopped touching food in Prison Areas (PopCap+ Mod involved?)

After activating the Population Cap+ Mod and going back into one of my save games, the colonists stopped touching any food that was in a prison area. That it happened after the mod was activated might have been a coincidence, since deactivating the mod did not change the fact that everything that resembles food (including dead animals) was left untouched while the colonists began to starve.
Once you deactivate the prison-function for the beds, they hungrily nourish from the piles of food.

Earlier in the game (for many weeks in game) I had the same setup with food-production inside the prison area, and no one bothered and handled food as normal. So one of these states is probably not intended and a bug^^

what kind of food is it? Paste or Cooked or Raw?
Nutrient paste dispensers should not be placed inside a prison cell as no colonist would be allowed to use it


actually, you should never put any food maker in a prison IF you dont have food maker outside the prison area.

This is done specifically so that your colonists will not eat in a Prison area. If you were a colonist, I doubt you'd want to sit in the middle of the prison cafeteria and eat, where it would logically be very dangerous (even though prisoners can not be dangerous to non-prisoners, without weapons). Granted, if it was the only way you could eat, I'd surmise that you would pick that option, but the AI for colonists isn't finished yet. It's possible that they might eat from a prison Nutrient Extractor in some future version, given no other option, but it's hard to say when this might happen.

This meant all kinds of food. Raw food, nutrient paste dispenser, butcher and cooking tables.

Then the bug was, that they didn't care for the prison are or the prisoners for ages before they stopped eating and just kept dropping the potatoes to the ground after harvesting them
