where is my mods folder?

Inside your rimworld folder, you should have RimWorld363Win_Data, on that same folder you should have the Mods folder, also the executable.
If not, im not sure

Oh btw I use mac and there nothing just the applacation

If you do a right click (either right mouse button or holding the control key while clicking) on the application file you should be able to select something like "show contents".
I pretty much assume in there you will find the mods folder :-)
