based from the vid, it looks like rimworld + space engineers! 

has anyone tried this yet? people hanging around rimworld forums seem to have decent taste for base building games so i value your opinions. what do you guys think? is the alpha worth buying or should i wait a bit more?

Had a look and it seems to be a great concept, but it just started.
On their site at http://universe-edge.com/ they announce that a kickstarter campaign is in the works for April.
If I like the presentation I might even back it ;-)

ah, my bad. i was searching for "base building games" when i saw the video on steam greenlight awhile ago and got excited over it, so i just assumed that it might already have an early alpha out or something. lol. (again, my bad)

anyways, after reading their road map : http://universe-edge.com/roadmap.html, i might also back it up when they release a demo on april. though i'm hoping they'll add multiplayer support eventually. i can just imagine players creating a deathstar or star trek's enterprise. the battles are gonna be epic!  hahaha..
