Problem: Colonists with a bionic eye remain incapacitated after anaesthesia wears off.
Steps to reproduce: Get bionic eye. Install in colonist. Wait for colonist to wake up from anaesthesia. Keep waiting.

I installed about a dozen eyes under variable circumstances, and the patients always woke up normally. Tried on RimWorld 0.15.1284 rev905 (Alpha 15c) Linux 64 bit drm free. No mods.

Do you have a save and log available? Which version are you running? Do you have mods installed? What were the exact conditions? Are you able to reproduce the bug? See https://ludeon.com/forums/index.php?topic=513.0
The same bug was reported earlier today here: https://ludeon.com/forums/index.php?topic=25356.0

Unable to reproduce. Can you please post a saved game with this bug? You'll need to zip it up with something before posting it.

I had the same problem, the pawn capacities weren't restoring after a surgery, also when they take drugs, even after the effect is gone, their capacities penalties stay. Not sure if it was previous version bug or a mod problem, but with the newest 15c I didn't had this bug yet.

Apophis

I am having the same problem as well with version 15c, no mods.

After changing the consiousness in any way, drugs, disease, surgery, food poisoning, the consiousness regularly does not return to 100% immediately.
Saving and reloading resets it to the correct level, so a saved game won't help I'm afraid.

EDIT: This seems to be a different problem, since in my case, the consiousness does not claim to be OK. http://i.imgur.com/gkDjWjX.png

Im also having this problem. Sometimes you dont notice until you start to see them work slowly. Mechanite effects also stay.

I am unable to produce a reliable save file. If anyone else could, go right ahead.

I just wanna let you know that I encountered this bug, and was browsing the forum to check if anyone else has. It was not present form the begining of the playthrough, but seeminigly triggered somewhere on the way - patients did normally woke up after anasthesia wore off, and I managed to get someone a bionic leg and someone else a bionic arm.

Then after some time i tried multiple surgeries  (multiple, cause I reloaded the game to check different colonists) and patients will remain at very poor (10%) conciousness though anasthesia effect is no longer there (after bionic eye/power claw surgeries). What changed between these times is that some of my colonists got mechanites and gained drug tolerance. I tried also doing surgeries on clean colonists that had neither of these, and they won't regain consciousness. No idea when it got 'blocked' or the bug triggered.

- my vanilla friendly balanced mods and game fixes.

Apophis

I have attached a save file in which a colonist has just gotten a bionic eye and the anasthesia have worn off.

Consiousness did not go back to 100% after the surgery, so I reloaded, which used to work. However, this time it did not, the consiousness stat did go up, but the colonist was still incapacitated.

If anybody encounters this bug, please post a saved game from before the surgery was done. It would be best if you could give me the saved game from where the bug has just occurred, and all 5 previous autosaves from before the bug occurred.

Thank you to those who have posted save files so far. :) Unfortunately save files from after the bug has occurred haven't helped me narrow down the cause for this bug. :(

@TrueDestroyer: Please post the save you've been using to test this.

I had some bionics to hand out, so I operated on two colonists at once.
I saved manually after the first surgery, after the second, when the anesthetics had worn off (they didn't wake up), and another one when they wouldn't wake up. I also included the autosaves.

Maybe it will help.

Edit: I don't know if the save order will be apparent from the autosaves, so: http://i.imgur.com/bgH08mK.png

I'm also having this issue after installing joywires. I did a mass installation on my 20 colonist and 17 of them remained incapacitated indefinitely afterwards. Their consciousness dropped down to 10℅ and returned to a higher 80% after a few weeks but never leaving the bed. I can replicate and upload if necessary.

I found a workaround fix for those of us which have paralyzed patients: Enable god mode, go into the debug actions menu, click on 'Tool Surgery Fail Minor', now click on all your disabled patients, they will instantly loose their paralysis, and apart from the minor surgery scars everything is normal again.

A better workaround is, also in the dev console, restore a random body part (apply damage --> restore body part), for instance a jaw. Then the patient will wake up.

im having the same issue with my colony.... a way to restore the consciounsdnefuwhatever is to put them in cryo for a sec or two and that solves the issue temporary... but yeah i have to manualy check every colonists for consciusidness... drops every once in a while. also people never wake up from surgery :/ at least is usefull to keep people who are in windraw downed until they are ok :)
i think i posted the save file but im not sure. in my save KB was in wake up windraw and rocking a joywire and decided to smoke some pot.... i mean smokeleaf... and end up in bed for like 4 or 5 seasons... i guess if you put him into the cryo chamber he will be ok
