Alpha 15 - The Growers (Unmodded Tribal Cassandra on Intense) (FINISHED!)

So, after in my last play through everyone died horribly in a painful display of bad luck and ineptitude from everyone involved, I decided to start a new one. This one is called the growers, a group of drug growers come up with the grand idea to set up on an uncharted planet hoping not to be bothered by any authorities or anyone else, not realising the planet is in fact inhabited.

Everything goes wrong and they crash land, without any real knowledge of how to survive without their ship providing electricity. They have to try to survive, with the knowledge of drug making, but otherwise the research level of a tribe. Will they survive? Can they escape the planet? And can they grow enough drugs in the mean time to live like kings when they do? Playing on Cassandra on Intense.

Part 6 is up now.. and we kill a lot of stuff. Wildlife, mostly, as Cassandra decides we've had enough raiders for the moment, and sets a bunch of animals on us. We can't recruit hares god damn it.

Things are looking up, until you realise that we're quite low on food and winter isn't even nearly over yet. It's gonna be a rough winter.

The next two parts are up! We're hungry... ever so hungry... and Cassandra has taken very little pity on us. She keeps giving us just enough to carry on, just enough to keep our hopes up, only to knock us back down. We will sacrifice our chickens to her in the hope she decides to be more merciful in the future.

Next 2 parts have arrived, and everything's going pretty badly. The chickens are a mere shell of their former selves. Our colonists have been hungry the entire winter.. do they get a reprieve in the spring? Or summer? Only one way to find out...

Next 2 parts are uploaded, and these are some oddities. First we have a raid that lasts so long we literally nearly starve (molotovs and rain don't mix, kids) and then we get a nice relaxing period where we actually remedy our food situation. Very strange.

Someone in my colony has rubbed two sticks together and figured out how to make electricity! That means we can make a freezer! That means we have to fill the freezer... And not with vegetables.

Winter is coming... so they say. We have a few mood problems to sort out, mostly stemming from people being idiots and eating raw food, so we'd better fix that, and the lack of wood, and defend our base from pirates, and control our prisoners etc. etc... One day I'll make a perfect colony.
