Faction clothing replaced by parkas

Im the developer of the Talons faction and I am currently stuck with my faction opting for parkas when spawning rather then their designated armour. Any ideas for fixes or work arounds?

you could have them ignore the winter gear like colonists and spacers, do
but they'd likely die in cold climates then

if you give them an parka option of their own they'd likely use that instead

You may find some hints and clues about that in the last pages of Rimsenal mod thread. There was the exact same problems and it had been discussed a bit in the thread.

The game force pawn to spawn with clothes adapted to winter. So they prioritize spawn with them. You could try to raise the cold insulation of your modded apparels maybe to conterbalance that

I just want to say thank you I have not outright fixed it but I have mitigated it so it happens less.
