Trader Animals eat my food

I'm alone on the cold planet...no stop, there are some trader with animals. A small talk later and a empty stockpile: " Hey guys, where is my food, where are all my grains? It's wintertime, I'm new here, have no food, nothing grows...

So it's not nice, that the trader animals eat the colonie food, from the colonie stockpile. Without any reparation, i'll shoot the next one down
Why do they not have their own food, like the guests or the trader themselves
I don't like people they only can take, but not give.
