Pick up a streamer's game and continue from there

In short, my suggestion is that players can very easily get someone else's save game and start playing. For example, that someone else can be a streamer.

Longer version: Streamers on sites such as Twitch broadcast their play of the game. Spectators watch the broadcast. Most of the time spectators are happy just watching but sometimes they might want to start playing. I mean they might want to start playing that specific game instance. RimWorld would have built-in support for this. It could be implemented so that the streamer publishes a special code. Spectators can enter this special code in their RimWorld and the game loads instantly. The games are not linked in any way. Both the streamer and the spectator are playing separate single-player games.

This also encourages people to play the game more because sometimes a person does not feel like starting a new game but might be lured into continuing someone else's game after watching it for a while.

Strengths: Gives people another reason to watch RimWorld streams. Serves players by adding more value to the game. Cheap to implement.
Weaknesses: Requires some bandwidth.
Opportunities: Could give RimWorld more visibility on streams and therefore result in more customers who buy the game.
Threats: Might be a lame and seldomly used feature after all.

I think if a streamer wanted to do this, the easier way would be for him/her to save immediately upon starting the game, and just post that save for people to play. As long as you have that and an ordered mod list (if using mods), everything should go smooth.

The streamer's game would save automatically every minute (or so) and the players would always get the latest save file. If RimWorld had built-in support for this it would save a lot of manual work.

You might have better luck suggesting this as a feature for the twitch mod than for inclusion in the core game.
