Cool concept. Just pointing out that is impossible for more than one pawn eat in the same "front square", which means that table is useful for one colonist at a time for eating.

If I'm wrong, please, feel free to correct me.

Many times have I seen a pawn put a meal on top of another pawn's meal, so I think this table will work fine. It would be good for prison rooms.
Run away!

looks good, just a tip for the texture if you want to get it more "vanilla-like":
mostly all vanilla textures have a small black border around them on the outside. for the small things i usally use 1-2 pixels, just try around a bit what fits and looks good.

one other small thing, for the xml you are missing your abstract definitions (see https://ludeon.com/forums/index.php?topic=19499.0). can couse problems withh ccl when its released and some mods. usally you will not get an error if you miss these so easily overlooked.

the corner eating problem was fixed, so the 1x1 tables are a thing now^^

I am sorry for the misinformation, I read it a while ago and now I've seen it is from 2014, was posted by @Shinzy at Eating off the floor with plenty of seating at the table.

Semo

Perfect! Just what i needed for my prison cells.

That was definitely still happening less than 6 months ago, so it's not like it's ancient info. Wonder if this was changed in vanilla, or if this is a modded change? If it was changed in vanilla, anyone know which alpha did that? I'd assume either A14 or A15, believe I still saw that behavior in A13, and definitely did in A12.

Ah there's modular tables mod by ItchyFlea already same as this one atleast when you get bored with the 1x1 design you can connect another one

i got out at 13 and back at 15 so i agree this was "recent" and also very annoying glad to see its fixed.
Shackleberry: Would be useful if there was an XSD (XML Schema Definition) for each of the XML files, would make validating XML between version far easier.

SteelRev

I saw pawns sharing the same part of a table in A14.
