Colonists Not Eating at Tables

I used to have this problem. Here's a good way to avoid it.
Set up your dining/kitchen/freezer so that the table is as close to the freezer as possible. Make the kitchen rather narrow as well, to minimize the distance between the two. This should ensure your colonists eat at the table.
When my base got large enough and it started up again, I just put a table and a chair in each room. Improved the beauty and gave them a place to eat.
Healer got his legs torn off by hellspawn today, bugs exploded from someones floor, and its been a toxic fallout nuclear winter for the past week. Then a solar flare hit.
Such is life in the rimworld.

The problem is that sometimes colonists will enter a room with a sleeping pawn..

In the future Door Security Tab from Prisoners & Slaves will solve this problem.
