Currently, how much can you amputate/harvest from a human pawn ? 4 limbs, stomach, 1 kidney, 1 lung, 2 ears, 2 eyes...

I don't want to sound gore, just sci-fi, like the RimWorld lore is.

So what's if the ultimate organ of a pawn was just the brain ? You could make surrogate organs from current mods much more interesting and open a lot of new aspects.

For a example, you could replace an old body by a new one, like a prisoner's one or make a pawn a transcendent humanlike.

That would require completely changing how the body is "designed" and would require the brain to be the main body part instead of the torso/body.  It would make sense from a "what is actually a person" perspective where the brain is central to that but, from a "how would you describe the make up of the whole body" it makes sense for the torso to be central.
