Hi! First off, I wanted to expand the healing options:

Currently, the only real healing restrictions are 'Medicine Y/N, Doctor's Care Y/N', which seems weirdly limited compared to the rest of the game.

A priority tree like this would be good:

Bruises - No Doctor's Care, no medicine (#10)
Cracks - Doctor's Care, no medicine (#9)
Scratches - Doctor's Care, no medicine (#8)
Bites - Doctor's Care, no medicine (#6)
Burns - Doctor's Care, Herbal Medicine (#7)
Cuts - Doctor's Care, Herbal Medicine (#5)
Stabs - Doctor's Care, Herbal Medicine (#4)
Bullet Wounds - Doctor's Care, Medicine/Glitterworld (#2)
Infections - Doctor's Care, Medicine (#1)
Asthma, Artery Blockage, Mechanite etc. - Doctor's Care, Herbal Medicine (#3)

The '#' refer to priority. The lower the number, the higher priority. For example, if a character is bruised on his left shoulder but has a foot infection, the infection would be treated prior to the bruise. You can also set Doctor's Care On/Off and the type of medicine used. This could be in a tab next to Health and Operations. Of course, the game would have an auto-priority system of every type of injury (Some of which I have missed), so you don't have to set manual priorities.

Prosthetics:
There should be a lot more prosthetic options:

Head:
Synthetic Nose - 25 Synthread - Makes a noseless pawn have a nose. Simple as that.
Synthetic Ears - 20 Synthread - Gives a pawn an ear, which allows for better social interaction than those without ears.
Bionic Ears - 40 Steel, 2 Components - Gives a pawn a 120% efficiency ear.
Hearing Aid- 30 Steel, 1 Component - For those who have hearing loss, this gets rid of it.
Bionic Jaw - 60 Steel - A 120% Efficiency Jaw, for better social.

Torso/Arms
Prosthetic Torso - 120 Steel, 4 Components, 40 Synthread - A way to get around those pesky torso infections.
Bionic Lung - 40 Steel, 1 Component - Enhanced breathing, which gives character a better shooting %
Bionic Hand - 6o Steel, 3 Components - Enhanced Manipulation, can be combined with bionic arm. Gives better shooting and melee %

Stomach/Legs
Synthetic Stomach - 75 Steel, 40 Synthread - Allows for faster eating
Bionic Foot - 50 Steel - Can be combined with bionic leg, gives 15% better movement.

You get the gist. To make this a little more advanced, it would need a research tree -

Bionic Production (1500 RP, allows start of prosthetic tree)
         \/
Synthread Molding (1000 RP, allows for Synthetic parts)
         \/
Large Prosthetics (1250 RP, allows for prosthetic torso and advance in tech)
         \/
Bionic Engineering (2500 RP, allows for production of all prosthetic, synthetic and bionic body parts)

This would all be a large research bench tech, and would require this:

Prosthetic Engineering Bench
250 Steel, 5 Components
Allows for the production of all (researched) prosthetic technology.

Personally, I think these would be good additions. What do you think?
Only in RimWorld is the phrase "31 Heavily-Armed Siegers are currently bombing your base" preferable to "50 manhunting squirrels are attacking your colony"

I'd expand this a little to go for simple prosthetics and then bionic limbs.

ie.

add in an early model "peg leg" for those with a lost leg, or having people able to walk around on crutches (lost foot), walking stick (criple), or using crude wheel chairs (both legs off).

this is actually a really good idea and if it cant be added to the game would make a really decent mod, maybe you should start tinkering (maybe getting help if your not sure) and start building this up. I would 100% use this mod

Most of your ideas are already done here: https://ludeon.com/forums/index.php?topic=10571.0
As for replacing torso it is hard as torso in the game is the key bodypart that defines what a pawn is. So it cant be replaced without deep C# codding. I also don't get the idea of being able to combine binonich arm and hand. If you already have a bionic arm where would you attach a hand? Or do you see the arm more like a shoulder that doesn't inititaly come with a hand?

really agree with this, I hate using meds on bruises, they just seem kinda useless to do.

Often seems medicine needs to be micromanaged so much.
Why to people worry about following their heart? Its lodged in your chest, you won't accidentally leave it behind.

Its bad because reasons, and if you don't know the reasons, you are horrible. You cannot ask what the reasons are or else you doubt it. But the reasons are irrefutable. Logic.
