If anyone has played RimWorld since the early alphas, you should remember the old sounds for designating mining, placing a blueprint etc. Although I really like the new and improved sounds, the older ones just have that nostalgic feel to them like that time first started playing this great game. I'm not suggesting a complete sound overhaul for vanilla but rather a mod for the old sounds that comes with the game much like explosive charges were in a mod that came with the game long after their removal which are now, sadly gone.

My next topic would be the log walls, which once again, are gone. I'm not sure exactly why they were removed but they were pretty op. They could withstand quite some punishment and could be built in seconds. The log walls were pretty much the go-to material to build an early game base out of. In my opinion the walls of log looked very nice and once again I think it will be a nice new wall material. Though they shouldn't be so op. Perhaps average build time, average hp, neutral beauty but you can't even build a conduit inside. Just a suggestion.

Finally, about the current 'wood' furniture such as tables and chairs. It barely looks like wood, more like caramel though not as tasty. Unlike the texture from before alpha 7 (this is kind of the theme of this post) there were lines on the table that actually made it look like wood. This is just an idea to make the wood furniture more appealing to look at and would be more realistic.
