Going for a rather detailed, rugged and at least a bit historically accurate set of medieval items. Just graphics for now.
Planning to do a few visors for the bascient (pigface, hounskull), at least 3 kinds of gambeson w/o plate variations.

Wondering is it possible to add to the weapons a separate graphical layer that checks if a piece is equipped and than picks what kind of gauntlet graphic should be used? Just asking if someone seen something similar working.

Finished pourpoint, kettle hat and a few chainmail coifs

What do you think?

I'm not into medieval stuff at all but I like how you draw

Do more variations of different armor/apparels, instead of variations of one single piece of equipment. If you have a bascinet, good, move to a kettle helmet, for instance.

Nice like it hopefully it gets implemented in medieval times

I'd rather aspire to replace it, but we'll see :)

I finished off how i'd like the pourpoint to look, two variants soo far, buttons and belts (i know, but i couldn't resist).
Also did a simple kettle hat because it was a good idea (will return here to do at least a few more types), any suggestions for other helmets then? For armours i'll try a brigandine next propably. Don't wanna go full auto with the plates yet.

The 3rd chainmail coif has the bottom most row of chains made from a more expensive metal, for knightly swag.

Apparels are a whole different subject, especially headwear. Soo much to do :)

Remember you'll need to make a side and back view texture, as well.

Quite aware, just want to prepare the full sets in batches because i know i'll get some ideas after the initial clean-up of the original piece. Just giving myself some time :)
