A raid notification pops up after the game freezes for half a minute.


693 enemies? the tactical computer might have broken down... they don't seem to be that many.

And then they start the attack and they suddenly "sprouted":





I almost felt sorry for them.... almost.

are you playing with mods ?

does this Version ( 15c ) have a natural limit on total pawns ? ( id rather face 100x with shields than 600 tribals.... that's crazy

I have many many mods, but no "hell effect" or "glitter tech" or "Combat realism". I do have a lot of turrets though, (more vanilla turrets and turret collection), they did most of the job.
I don't know if there is a limit to raiders, and it should, the current game can't handle that many pawns, it almost hit 4GB of memory usage and i was running at 1 FPS  :'(
The number of raiders depends on your wealth, your number of pawns and time since your arrival.... all of those were high for me in this case.

what was your Story Teller ? ( default or modded ? )

might as well ask ....  whats ur full mod list ??

( is 600 tribal default game numbers or modded ? )

I only managed to spray them with 2 rounds of a devastator mortar and 2 (inacurate shots) of DU mortars.... any more and i would have suffer from the nuclear fallout.. I only took out 10 of them =S

that's a lot of mods  I already had 50% of them and knew of 80% of them, but still 600 default tribes is scary. :(

If you set up your defenses in a good way, is not so difficult to take tribals out, if it wasn't for the nuclear fallout i would have butcher them all!
i'm actually more scared of mechanoids... their numbers are going insanely high as well (they have long gone past 100 by now), and they have almost managed to get past the first ring of defense.
I also expect to have an orassan raid soon, i hope is not 600+ though >_<
