Hive spawned outside of an area where there was overhead mountains

They have just randomly spawned where they shouldn't... Only the top right one is under an overhead mountain as well as the bottom one is on what originally was dirt. Although the top right one looks like its under a mountain as well it is not

My guess on how infestations work:

1. choose a random spot which is under overhead mountains
2. spawn some hives and insects in a small radius around that spot

so there's a very small chance that something happens as what has happened here - because most of the random spots will be far deeper in the mountain
