I recently downloaded Rimworld onto a new computer and when I booted it up the Ui was way too small to read. I increased the Ui size until it was regular size again, but when I created my world it increased in size massively. I can't manually lower the size back down because it is now to big to get to the buttons. I have even tried deleting the local files and reinstalling the game and it still doesn't work. Does anyone know how to fix this.

This came up recently and the user reporting it managed to solve the problem by deleting their config folder.

To find your config folder, navigate to:
Users>[user name]>AppDate>LocalLow>Ludeon Studios>RimWorld

There should be a config folder in there. If you delete it and restart the game, then the config folder should be recreated with default settings. (I can't guarantee this will work, but it did for the above user, so worth a shot. Please report back either way if you can).

Just FYI, in the preferences folder, you can modify the "prefs.xml" file to manually set a UI scale.

Yeah, that worked.

Good to hear that the same solution worked for you as well.
