[MOD REQ] Zone where animals cant enter

Simple "standalone" mod. A zone animals just cant enter.

As in "stay off my plants you greedy monsters!"

I dont mind them going where they want, just not at my crops.

This already exists in the core game. Just set a new Zone with the area you don't want animals to enter, invert it (so the Zone is all the map except that marked area) and assign it to your animals in the Animal tab.

I have chickens, LOTS of chickens and I'd prefer to click zones on or off from being animal accessed rather than clicking all the chickens in the animal menu.

PS: buy 30-60 chicken eggs and hatch em. Then watch as they take over the entire map.

I too would find this more useful then zoning the entire map; I play on the largest map size :p

It seems chickens dont obey the zones. All my drugs are being eaten by chickens.

Have you assigned the chickens to said zone? this works perfectly in my game.

Sorry for hijacking this thread, but how about a mod that adds an area where pets can't eat?
my hauling bears are eating raw food from my fridge all the time, get sick as a result,
and vomit everywhere :\

@OP I was thinking about this exact feature yesterday, and wondering why it's not in the game by default!!
