Replace existing walls with different one

Hey there,
I'm not sure if someone already posted this idea so if someone did please delete this post

I wondered what if walls could be replaced with different one -> When u start building a wooden base and u try to replace parts with metal walls

I posted this idea in the Cheap Idea Threat as well, I would may it so much more easier to replace wall without deconstructing the old one first. Also handy when you need to replace bad quality items.

for walls, simply use "JTReplaceWalls" mod ...

+1, had to re edit my freezer the other day, and was hard to do when i first have to desconstruct so all cold air gets out etc

I think that's actually intended, for situations like this.

You aren't meant to be able to quickly upgrade your buildings to stronger materials, that would make it too easy. It makes it important to plan ahead or work slowly

I don't think a quick replace walls feature is a good idea.
