Got email... Unzipped file. Played game. No mods. Fresh install.
When I try to load any game... this one is a game that is about an hour old... but i've also done it with a brand new one... I get the attach screen.

Please post the saved game here. Zipping it with something like 7zip should make it small enough to post.

Thanks, I'm putting this in Mantis. Let me look into it.

All right, I have a good idea of what caused this.

I'm going to add some recovery code and silently update Alpha 3. If you re-download in a couple hours your game will load (with an error message, but it seems harmless).

I'll write a solid solution for the future.

Okay, hotfixed Alpha3b is uploading now.

Nobody will be notified, this will be a silent update.

So the fixed file name would have Alpha3b instead of merely Alpha3, right?
I like how this game can result in quotes that would be quite unnerving when said in public, out of context. - Myself

The dubious quotes list is now public. See it here

Yes. e.g. Windows would be RimWorldAlpha3bWin.zip. The internal files would look almost identical.
