[Mod Idea]Something like the matrix

I was thinking of a mod that would allow a pawn to enter a pod like the cryptosleep casket and be able to control something like a turret or a robot. Kinda akin to the matrix so it could be used as a joy item but with the downside of the pawn wanting to stay inside. Sadly I have zero modding skills so any ideas on how this would be made? Thanks for any help you can give.

I can't help but imagine the hilarious situation your colony will end up in when all your colonists enter your "joy" item at the same time.
