How to install:
- Unzip the contents and place them in your RimWorld/Mods folder.
- Activate the mod in the mod menu in the game.

Looks nice; will have to try it when I get home. Do you plan to make an arid biome animal pack similar to my Taiga Creatures mod? Arid biomes don't have much variety (this along with the meerkat mod is a good start).

In your code it changes the biomes. You should put the biomes they appear in, in the creature code instead of changing the biome code.

Example ...


      <wildBiomes>
<Tundra>0.095</Tundra>
<BorealForest>0.05</BorealForest>
      </wildBiomes>


But put like Arid Scrubland instead.

I will change it for the next update! But I wonder where did you found this? I searched the Core files and didn't find anything like "wildBiomes" ?

I figured it out somehow when I was making Taiga Creatures. ^^ It's not even documented in the Auto XML docs (as the core game doesn't even use the functionality), so it's unsurprising many people even know the it exists unless they look at other animal mods using it.

Just make sure it goes under the <race> group in the ThingDef for the animal.

Also, I could imagine to make more animals. My itch says Hyena next. Spotted or striped? Or 2 alternative textures...?^^ We don't have a lot of striped animals yet and I guess stripes might look better at smaller resolutions... So, Tigers. But i just made a big cat! %D ...OKAPIS could be nice, too? ButthenwewouldalsoneedGiraffes...

Because that's what I like to do. I LOVE dem animals!
The lions are great, too, I enjoyed the trailer a lot, too. Gute Arbeit!

Can you use the special biome code so it adds lions to biomes without altering all the biome info? See mods like the Taiga Mod.

Example for the black bear.

I see you guys fixed the mod to allow for no biome changes. Good job!

I do have a question though why do the animals have some questionable biome possibilities? Like Lions in the Tundra. I recommend the following ...

Lion
Core Biome: Arid Scubland (Most like African savanna)
Minor Biomes: Temperate Forest, Desert
Rare Biomes: Extreme Desert

Tiger
Core Biome: Tropical Rainforest
Minor Biomes: Arid Scubland, Temperate Forest
Rare Biomes: Boreal Forest

Leopard
Core Biome: Arid Scubland (Most like African savanna)
Minor Biomes: Tropical Rainforest, Temperate Forest
Rare Biomes: Boreal Forest

Snow Leopard
Core Biome: Tundra (Since there is no "Mountain" biome)
Minor Biomes: Boreal Forest, Ice Sheet
Rare Biomes: Sea Ice

Gorilla
Core Biome: Tropical Rainforest
Minor Biomes: Temperate Forest, Boreal Forest
Rare Biomes: Tundra

@ZModW - Yes, you can implement a translation, but I still I will update it and send nexus. The reason is simple - is then shown in the category ,,Polish" and is shown to anyone who is looking polonization.

I have made a Polish folder inside the Languages folder, to make it easier for you to translate :)
As soon as you have translated the new Animals I will make a small "languages_patch"
