Can you change the title screen?

So, this is entirely theoretical, but as I'm working on my Halo music mods and planning a "Halo Overhaul" to the game, I had a thought.
Could you change the red planet background of the title screen, or is that not possible/extremely complicated? I'd love to change it to a Halo ring for a Halo themed playthrough.
If it is possible, can anyone explain how it could be done?

Ofcourse it's possible, for examples just look at hardcore SK modpack, or the old ModVarietyPack, both change the title screen.

The real question is should you want to, to which my answer would be no.
