Caravan Help

I am having problems with my caravan, being that I cant seem to get the medicine off my muffalo to help treat my people, does any one know if its possible to manage the caravan items?

All caravan animals that have 'gear' on them, have a 'gear' tab, when you select them. It shows which items they are carrying. Search through your pack animals until you have the one holding the item you're searching for. Press the arrow down icon and it releases the item. If no pack animal is holding the item, search through your caravaneers, if they took it is part of their own inventory. If they also don't have it, question yourself if they took the medicine when the caravan left in the first place. Maybe the medicine was used up by a doctor before they could pack it, or it was forbidden...
