Mod request/mod assistance needed-quickly healing assault dogs

So I have recently gotten into Rimworld modding and vaguely know what's what. I came up with an interesting idea for an attack dog that lives for 3 seasons, with a gestation period of 10 days, that is immune to most illnesses and heals incredibly quickly. It would heal most wounds almost instantly but if a limb got destroyed it would not grow back. The lore would be that it was used on glitterworlds as riot control, as high damage weapons like swords or charge rifles are needed to permanently harm it.
Problem is I still barely know anything, and I am crap at art.
I was wondering if someone could perhaps take the time to help me make this mod and while they are at it help me learn more about modding?
