Comm Consold and Trade Beacon

I recently upgraded to version A16.

I cannot find the comm console or trade beacon in the building menu.  I've looked for another discussion for this issue and haven't been successful in finding anything about this problem.

Can someone tell me if I am missing something or if there is a research for communications that I need to do (also can't find that)?

They're both in the misc menu.

You have to research microelectronics before you can build either.

Neither is showing up in my Misc menu right now.

They won't show up until you research the required techs.
