I wish there were single stack racks that can hold almost anything.  Similar to https://ludeon.com/forums/index.php?topic=23205.0

You've misunderstood the post. OP doesn't want to store more than one stack's worth of items on the same tile. Check the mod that's linked in the post.

It would be nice as a base game functionality. There is a very good mod for A16 called "kitchen counters" that provides a number of single tile racks to store almost anything in the game. You can find it at this link: https://ludeon.com/forums/index.php?topic=28381.0

Yes, we need "requester chests". 1 tile stockpiles that request items for crafting spots. Preferably with a configurable limit to stack size - e.g. if you want to make medicine that you can say "bring herbal medicine here, but only till here is 20".

It would be very nice to have a way to keep stacks of inventory near crafting locations without incurring the beauty hit from having stuff piled on the floor.  So I'm all for single tile racks or chests or other storage but I think it should improve the room to use it over just creating stockpiles.  (Being able to specify a max stack size would be nice, too, but that could be added to the stockpile definitions for broader flexibility in all stockpile zones.)

Ya I saw that but they only had doubles.  I was hoping for a single counter.



I wasn't looking for anything to increase the stacks.  Thanks Syrchalis and Granitecosmos

I've used kitchen counter myself, it uses single tile storage units. The demo pictures are just two of the units side by side
