Neuter Animals

Description:
Are you tired of having your Muffalos breed like rabbits while traveling with a caravan, inevitably slowing everyone down throughout the stages of pregnancy?

This is a simple mod that allows you to neuter/spay animals and prevent them from breeding!

Issues
If there are any issues let me know and I'll try to fix it ASAP.
This is a really simple mod, so there (hopefully) shouldn't be any problems.

NEW:
Updated to B18

Author/Mod Team
Just me; this is my first mod and I made it because I was tired of having pregnant Muffalos slowing down my caravans.

How to install:
- Unzip the contents and place them in your RimWorld/Mods folder.
- Activate the mod in the mod menu in the game.
Someone: "Is the glass half-full or half-empty?"
Me: "It's twice as large as necessary."

Does this work for all animals, not just muffalo? I have a few dogs that could use neutering. Lol

KingDolphinGuy

Yeah it works for all animals, I just originally wanted it for Muffalos

No option to neuter them. But works on other animals.
well that's normal, u need a compatability patch for other mods to work...

It works for all vanila animals. Should be correct.

I went ahead to just create the Minion's Compatibility Add-On for the Neuter Animal Mod. Just download and install the mod AFTER the Neuter Animal Mod.

To enable Minions to be neutered (only males can be neutered, as I had experimented), you need to open the Neuter Animal Mod folder > Defs > RecipeDefs and open the Recipe_Neuter.xml with notepad.

When you scroll down, you will see a list of the animals, add the following at the end of the list:

<li>Minion</li>
<li>EvilMinion</li>

Save and restart your game. Male Minions will be able to be neutered.

=}

Let me know if there is a demand for a "compatibility mod add-on" to make Minions compatible without doing the editing yourself (or if KingDolphinGuy dun like ppl to touch his mod files).

And KingDolphinGuy - AWESOME WORK~! =D

---- edit ---

The Add-On is no longer required, if you download Neuter Animals V2.0

Thanks so much!
I'll try to dig through some code and see if I can have it work with anything that isn't defined as 'human' for more mod compatibility.

Sounds like the "category" for medicine. Good luck to the search, I did so much searching for the Minions mod's various features, I feel you~ haha

Dr_Zhivago

After neutering or spaying, can the action be undone? Basically repair their sexual organs.
