I find that hilarious, although I think it could lead to a special circumstance, where maybe as an Exotic Cook he lite a kitchen on fire, the building burned down and then he decided he would never cook again.  Any rate the special reason for this should adjust the character passion differently yet again.  And if that occurred I would be okay with it.  If not then we should prevent these things from happening.
