2 of my 3 came down with the plague.
Other guy ran off to my neighbor and traded everything I had to get some penoxy.
Come back, administer, nothing.
Immunity staid in at 81% for both patients.

Did penoxy change in A17?
Does it no longer give an immunity boost post infection?
Or is this a bug?

Zhentar

In A16, Penoxy boosted immunity to 61% if immunity was below 61% before taking it, so it wouldn't have done anything in that case. In A17, it works differently and does not boost immunity percentage at all.

O Negative

If you wouldn't mind, can you explain how it works now? :)

Zhentar

I was following the code incorrectly (because of a refactor); it actually works quite similarly but boosts immunity to 65%.

This is genuinely good to know. I just assumed penoxy was only good people who weren't infected yet ...

Does it have an effect after the infection has begun?

After surviving malaria, I started manufacturing penoxy (I've literally never bothered before last night), but I sort of think I recall that Neutroamine isn't something you can produce? I don't know that I want to start a regular regime of a medication I can't source locally.

Thanks code reading superman.
I thought it boosted by 61 percent in a16, not to 61 percent
My ignorance, my apologies.  Nothibg to see here.
