[A17.1546 rev882] Crunching noise when changing job priorities

I just started a new game this version and noticed that there is a crunching sound instead of the normal clicking sound whenever a pawn's job priority is changed from 0 (blank) to either 1 or 4. Changing from 4 or 1 to 0 (blank), or to/from any other numbers, produces the expected clicking sound.

In "simple" mode where jobs are either checked on or off, changing any checked state for a job produces both the click and crunch sounds.

Are you sure the crunch always happens? It's supposed to play when enabling a worktype that the pawn is very low skilled in.

Ah, you are right. It just happens that I was only testing with skills that had no priority when I started testing, which also happened to all be very low skills. I did not think it would matter which skill it was after the first few so I only tried maybe half a dozen in two games each.

The crunch does not occur for skills level 3 or higher.

Yes, it's a feature. In A18 it will be explained in the tooltip + there will be a red outline.
