First 10 days: using wood only to make first couple of sleeping pens, stonecutting table, and warehouse.  There will be no wire-related fires in this place.  During this time I find out
Husband is greedy, but wife is ascetic, and Husband hates females, and wife is a female.  This is gonna be AWESOME.

Day 8: Sparkles (my favorite crafter) makes an appearance, but she's a member of a visiting faction.  I'm in no fit state to capture her.  Sad face.

Day 9: A squirrel goes mad and gives Nanami a scar.  A permanent scar.  Reduing her sight to 80% permanently, until fixed with bionics.  Nanami is my doctor.  Nanami is also a disfigured woman married to a misogynist.  Stiiill managing to stay in the positive, though.
My doctor's sight is impaired.

Day 10: A lazy nervous pyromaniac asks for help from the pirates chasing her!  I wish he told me he was a lazy nervous pyromaniac before I agreed to help him!  I draft him and leave him to the pirates.

The "pirates" is a single dude with a knife and 8 in melee and brawler.  He loses to the naked bear food.

Lazy Nervous Pyro starts punching wildlife until one fights back.  He may have died, but at least he died a free man!

Day 11: First raid, manage to capture, and he's a passable pawn, but a recruitment difficulty of 97% means he's getting executed.  Sorry brosef.

Day 37: After many grueling months of using my common room as a spacious prison cell, the Neckebards (sic) finally manage to recruit a fourth colonist.  Sam the sniper!  She's not perfect, but the first passable pawn I've gotten this game.

Day 40: Bulk goods trader and autodoors finished!  Aaand the bulk goods trader does not deal in stone blocks.  Sad face.  I needed more of those.  Maybe it's just the space bulk goods traders that have the stone blocks?  Oh well.  At least I can pawn off my spare chairs and furniture on them for caps.

Day 64: Toxic Fallout.  Roof ALL THE THINGS!  ...and expand the fridge, because there's gonna be some dead wildlife that needs to be procured!

Day 69: This guy drops out of an escape pod.  64% mental break thresholds are not the best pawns, I think.

"Since you rescued him, Yuudai decided to join your group!"
...wait what?  This is new.  Gonna have to euthanize him.

Day 77: "My daughter and son-in-law are living with me on this deserted rock where everything is trying to kill us, and I haven't seen my wife in god-knows-how long.
...so I'm gonna shack up with this native that tried to kill us earlier!"

A16 was when they added guys who join you if its inhospitable outside, very useful in any map that drops below -20 if you see good colonists drop out of the sky, as long as they come too during the coldest part of the day - its usually a guarantee that they will join you without the need for prison time.

Day 136: Infidelity runs in the family.  Nanami decided it'd be a good idea to cheat on her misogynistic husband with a tribal that attempted to kill her earlier.  Perhaps she gets turned on by bad boys?

Of course, husband blames the woman wholly.  He's still bros (having nice chats) with the dude plowing his wife.

Day 145:  Poison ship drops.  Time to take my team without EMP and not-great weapons to take it out!  Took some minigun to the face, but no permanent damage.

Day 156: A siege happens, and again I'm forced to use shoddy light SMGs to defend my base.  I lose my second doctor and my best shooter (Who daddy was also keeping around as a side-girl).

Recovering from that mess, I realize I took on the siege too early.  The orbital drops that come with the siege never happened.  Also, three people caught the flu.  Eventually, it comes down to 4 of my 5 people unable to walk, and Nanami has nobody able to tend to her.  Let's see how this "self-tend" nonsense works.

That went well.  But we had "Zzzt!" happen, which set off a boomalope.
Then a boomrat became enraged, while I had four unable to walk.
Then my doctor goes on a psychotic wander.

I could probably recover from this, but we'll see if I'm in the mood to play it later. Calling it a day here.
