I would say:

Your turrets are far too close to the place a raid will emerge into your killbox, make any melee raider run the rull range of your turrets

Dont stand your colonists near turrets, the raid will fire on your turrets and misses will hit your pawns - if the turret goes bang life isn't good for anyone near it

Arrange your turrets so that multiple turrets can hit the ranged at max range right at the point the raid enters the box - the ranged ones will focus on the turrets and not your pawns

Your ranged pawns generally end up having a better range than your turrets so you want to stand them back a bit so that they can pick off the ranged from the raid, generally the raid seems to focus on the turrets before the pawns

Deadfall traps are pretty effective but they need to be steel or something else like granite but I've never used anything but steel, and they need a long run of traps, figure each raider is going to trip 2-4 before falling over so you want quite a few if you are relying on them

Best cheap defences are, without doubt:
  • Snow
  • Marsh
If you don't live in a biome with those, well, you can migrate. But they are dramatic force multipliers, especially if you use some kind of divide and conquer tactic like having your internal passages free of snow and making enemies spread over a large area.

Maxim 1   : Pillage, then burn
Maxim 37 : There is no overkill. There is only open fire and reload.
Rule 34 of Rimworld :There is a mod for that.
