Some thing I never actually cared for where Animals in Winter ..
it is a measly -5° C outside and grass is still everywhere.
Only my pets walk around with malnutrition ?
Why is grass suddenly not good enough ?

They WILL, however, eat frozen harvested haygrass (not while still in the ground though) ;D.  Personally, I combine my haygrass storage with my main animal shelter; it has AC to prevent heat deaths and provide refrigeration, but no heater (my biome is pretty warm, although I do get cold snaps):

Haygrass stores a LONG time, even unrefrigerated/unfrozen.
Thanks, belgord!
