There is no "breeding season" its simply 5% per day and then just checking if the target is of the right age and stuff, so its not 100% that even when the 5% is hit itll be successful, less juveniles technically means more chance.

I think it took my thrumbos nearly 3 years to mate for the first time, then the pregnancy lasted around 2 years, then another 5-6 years to become juvenile
