It's a balance issue if I remember correctly. Being able to chop-shop the dead would lead to an over-abundance of bionics.

There's a way to fix that:

1) extracting an organ/limb requires a specialized freezer container - you need one for every limb/organ
2) extracting has to be done quickly, waiting too long makes an organ unusable. You won't have time to extract parts from several bodies - heck, you should barely have time to extract from one. I'm talking about 1-2 hours time limit.
3) reduce prices of limbs

You have a 50% chance to destroy the organ/ bionic part - your lever of medicine for organ/ - your level of crafting for bionic part.

If some colonist have 20 of medicine got 30% chance to destroy the organ when harvested and if have 20 on crafting he have 30% chance to destroy the organic part.

I just search for a mod which would allow this. Didnt find one. Which ist interesting, that it seems nobody actual build such a mod.

I think, you shouldnt be able to do so. But thats just me.

Agree with others, there has to be some way of implementing the ability to remove bionics from corpses without damaging gameplay. Either make the chances of success low, unless you have a super skilled doctor, or make the quality reduced when they are extracted (so over time the bionic has a chance of failing/breaking and then needs to be removed), or have some penalty for wearing the bionic of a deadman. Bionics are rare, expense, and (unless you have the mod) cant be built, and given the game is about survival and scavenging it seems odd you cant do this.
